Somali broadcast media can play a positive role in ensuring citizens' voices are heard

Feedback from participants and audiences of two radio programmes and one TV programmes broadcast across the Somali context between 2017 and 2018 suggests that media can provide citizens with a platform to engage with their elected representatives and others in positions of power.
